Does LED pay off and what is the payback time?

A company wanted to buy LED lighting, but would it be worth replacing all the luminaires? How many kWh will be saved annually? And if so, what is the payback time? We assisted the company with their project.

The grocery store and the many refrigerators

Is it worth putting lids on refrigeration units, using cooling curtains, or perhaps lowering the temperature in the shop’s refrigerators? We investigated several scenarios for savings and developed experimental protocols, providing the client with precise data. The findings were shared with other stores, helping them make better-informed decisions.

Is the induction cooktop cheaper to run?

A salesperson promoted the new (and expensive) induction stoves for large kitchens. The customer was allowed to test the equipment for a period, and we measured whether the claims held up. Electricity consumption of the old stove was compared to the new one, and the customer could then make an informed decision based on actual measurement data.

What does it cost to keep a piglet warm?
